Participants are divided into study tour groups of 12 – 15 people. Each group spends four days visiting one region of Canada, followed by four days in one Caribbean country or Bermuda.

Over the course of the study tours participants visit local businesses, industrial sites, community projects, government, charities, schools and universities, hospitals, and the police. These visits are an opportunity for dialogue and for participants to be exposed to the diverse challenges faced by leaders in both regions. At the end of the study tours, each group endeavour to reach a common understanding of what they have seen and its wider context and implications.
