The opening of CCELD 2011 will take place in Ottawa/Gatineau, Canada. Participants will travel to the opening location on Saturday May 28th with the official opening on Sunday, May 29th for two days of programming.
The sessions include the introduction of conference themes, a panel discussion on governance, addresses from prominent leaders, evening dinners and hospitalities, as well as tours of key locations in Ottawa and Gatineau Quebec. At this time, participants will also meet with their study tour groups and group leaders for orientation.

The study tour groups will depart for their Canadian tours on Tuesday May 31st.
